, River Hall brings together community, culture, and creativity in a dynamic public space. Following the successful pilot edition in 2024, the 2025 edition marks the project's second year, expanding its scope and ambition.
The space features amenities for residents, workers, and visitors alike--including a dog park, DJ nights, live performances, food and beverage services (bar, cafe, restaurant, and ice cream shop), and curated cultural programming.

JOB SUMMARY
The Social Media Manager will develop and execute social media strategies to enhance River Hall's online presence, engage with the community, and promote events. We are looking for someone that will create compelling content across various platforms to drive brand awareness and attract attendees.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute to content strategy and campaign ideation
Writing and creating content for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
Manage multi-platform publishing calendar strategy (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, etc.)
Coverage of events at River Hall
Management of online ads and media plan for the project
Image processing & creation of supporting visuals for content
Help with all related tasks concerning the communications/marketing department
Participation in weekly team meetings
Managing public and private interactions with the public
KEY SKILLS
Proven experience in social media management and content creation
Strong knowledge of social media platforms and trends
Excellent written and visual communication skills
Ability to analyze and report on social media metrics
Creativity and ability to work independently
EXPERIENCE
Education or significant experience in a related field (marketing, communications);
Good knowledge of the event industry, an asset;
Good knowledge of a public space's social media management, an asset.
Candidates must have a laptop computer and a cell phone that work properly.
