VMA Psych is a leading psychology clinic in the GTA, dedicated to providing compassionate and research-backed mental health care. We are looking for a

creative and motivated Social Media Intern

to join our team and help grow our online presence. This internship offers a

hands-on opportunity

to develop digital marketing skills, create impactful content, and gain valuable experience in social media management.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute social media strategies across

Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn

Create

engaging, visually appealing content

, including graphics, videos, and text posts Schedule posts, track engagement metrics, and adjust strategies based on insights Conduct research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging social media best practices Assist with

email marketing campaigns

and ensure consistent branding across platforms Support graphic design efforts using

Adobe Creative Suite and Canva

Proofread all content to maintain accuracy, professionalism, and brand consistency Optimize content for

SEO

to improve visibility and audience engagement Collaborate with the marketing team on advertising campaigns and digital initiatives

What We're Looking For

Passion for

social media, digital marketing, and mental health awareness

Familiarity with major social media platforms and their best practices Basic knowledge of

SEO, email marketing, and e-commerce strategies

Experience with

graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.)

Strong

research and analytical skills

to stay ahead of industry trends Excellent

proofreading and attention to detail

Experience using

Hootsuite or similar scheduling tools

is a plus A proactive,

self-starter attitude

with a willingness to learn
