Job Summary
Under the leadership of the Medical Program Manager, the
Social Media & Design Coordinator
will administer our social media accounts. Creating original content, managing posts, and responding to followers is critical in achieving our goals of educating and increasing awareness about our products and services amongst clients, both civilian and veteran.
For those who are up-to-date on the latest social media trends, have excellent communication skills, and who are highly organized, this is an excellent opportunity to work at one of Canada's most respected cannabis companies.

Responsibilities
:
Reporting to the Medical Program Manager, your work will include, but not be limited to the following:
Maintaining and managing several social media accounts and our client website while ensuring brand consistency and voice
Developing weekly email campaigns
Creating social content that align with business goals to increase both the volume as well as the engagement level of our followers across all channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
Growing our social media platforms by sourcing, curating, editing and posting engaging content
Developing and maintaining a social media content calendar, ensuring that content is scheduled within the minimum amount of advanced time required
Staying engaged with followers on social media, including responding to all relevant messages and
comments on all platforms Staying up to date on new trends in social media and provide ongoing recommendations for new social initiatives and tactics to deliver on social media strategic objectives and goals
Bi-monthly, physically capturing and editing short behind the scenes videos & images at our production facility, optimized for social media and sharing with the wider global marketing team.
Maintaining ongoing knowledge of the cannabis industry relating to regulations, policies, trends, issues,
etc. that are relevant to Aqualitas' interests Ensuring marketing and promotional materials are compliant with the Cannabis Act
and
Regulations* Adhering to all Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Good Production Practices
(GPP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
2+ years' experience in Design, Marketing, Communications or related field
Advanced experience and understanding of social media platforms + tools
Intermediate graphic design experience (Canva BONUS: Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign)
Previous experience working in a similar position preferred
Excellent writing skills, and a hyperactive eye for detail
Junior to intermediate photo and video shooting + editing skills
Ability to design and edit product photos for website & our shop platform
Experience working with WordPress, Hubspot, Meta Insights
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented environment
Highly organized and able to manage/execute multiple ongoing projects
Bonus: experience with MS Excel
Bonus: local to Queens County
Bonus: experience within the cannabis and/or pharmaceutical industry
Other details:
Location: Remote; bi-Monthly travel (minimum) to Brooklyn, Queens County, Nova Scotia
Compensation: To be determined based on skills and experience
Status and Hours: Permanent, Part-time 15 hrs/week with opportunity to increase the role.
