Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join our dynamic new machinery manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience across various platforms. There will be a lot of travel (possibly as much as two weeks each month) with our innovator developing content. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of digital marketing trends, graphic design skills, and a passion for storytelling through social media.

Duties

Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement. Create visually appealing graphics and content using Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator. Manage daily social media posts across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn. Conduct research on industry trends and audience preferences to inform content creation. Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns. Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and respond to comments or inquiries in a timely manner. Analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly. Ensure all content is proofread for accuracy and adheres to brand guidelines. Stay updated on SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines.

Qualifications

Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is essential. Experience in digital marketing Strong understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to social media content. Excellent proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to conduct thorough research to support content development. Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar tools for tracking performance metrics is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. A creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for engaging content. A valid passport, ability to travel throughout Canada, USA and internationally
