Job Description

HotNewHipHop is looking for a passionate and dynamic Social Media Coordinator to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of hip-hop culture and trends, and be capable of creating engaging and impactful social media content. You will be responsible for creating posts for our social media pages across various platforms, including Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, and Snapchat. This role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and a genuine love for hip-hop.

Hours: Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays - 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM ET

Responsibilities:

Create, curate, and manage daily content (written, image, video) that aligns with our brand and resonates with our audience. Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions. Collaborate with the editorial team to promote new content and initiatives. Stay up-to-date with platform changes, emerging trends, and best practices in social media marketing.
Experience:

Proven experience with social media, notably with Snapchat. Strong understanding and passion for hip-hop culture and music. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in using social media platforms (Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat) and scheduling tools (e.g., Later). Creative mindset with the ability to produce compelling content. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools. Basic graphic design skills.
