The Social Media Coordinator at Canadian Diamond Boyz is tasked with designing, executing, and overseeing the company\'s social media initiatives with the aim of enhancing brand recognition, optimizing marketing campaigns, and generating additional funds. In addition, the Coordinator will be involved in the planning and implementation of digital marketing endeavors. The successful Social Media Coordinator possesses exceptional communication skills, capable of leveraging paid and organic marketing tactics to generate leads and convert them. The Coordinator understands and is able to accurately reflect the sophisticated aesthetic of Canadian Diamond Boyz on all social media platforms. This position best fits an individual with previous experience in high-end retail, sales, jewelry, and other luxury brands who has a proven track record of expanding a brand\'s social media following and directing traffic to the company website. Content Creation
Planning, developing, publishing, and disseminating original content across multiple social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, & LinkedIn
Creating and scheduling comprehensive social media content strategies to ensure the efficient and effective use of resources.
Utilizing social media planning tools, such as Facebook Planner, to schedule content in advance and maintain an organized content calendar.
Developing and implementing holiday-themed campaigns in advance to maximize engagement and brand recognition.
Auditing social media content and identifying areas for improvement.
Advertising
Overseeing and managing social media advertising efforts across multiple social media channels, including; Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, & Pinterest.
Balancing paid advertising with organic social media marketing to ensure optimal results.
Analyzing and reporting on social media advertising analytics and adjusting strategies accordingly.
Developing and executing social media advertising strategies based on the results of surveys and analytics.
Assessing products or services and creating tailored social media promotion strategies.
Evaluating current social media advertising projects and strategies to identify areas for improvement.
Audience and Media Relations
Engaging with social media users to foster meaningful customer relationships and enhance brand awareness.
Initiating and maintaining contact with industry professionals, influencers, and the media for marketing partnerships.
Conducting surveys to gather insights on the interests and concerns of Canadian Diamond Boyz\'s key audience groups.
General Responsibilities
Applying search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to social media content and advertising efforts.
Staying current with the latest social media platforms, trends, best practices, and technologies.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
At least one 2 years of experience in marketing. sales, and/or social media management
Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in communications, social media, advertising or marketing
Experience leading and managing SEO/SEM campaigns, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns is required/a plus
Track record of identifying target audiences and developing digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate is required/a plus
Proven track record of successful social media marketing campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Pinterest, TikTok, Youtube, Twitter, and LinkedIn
A/B and multivariate experimentation experience is required/a plus
Excellent understanding of website and marketing analytics tools is required/a plus
Working knowledge of ad serving tools is required/a plus
PPC campaign setup and optimization experience on all major search engines is required/a plus.
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints is required/a plus
Experience using social media and project management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Asana) is required/an asset
Experience using design and media editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Premier Pro) is required/an asset
Experience with web design and publishing and the use of content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is required/an asset

Working Conditions
This is a full-time position with a standard day-shift schedule, that is typically 40 hours per week
