Everyday Micros Farm is a small indoor urban farm dedicated to producing high-quality, culinary microgreens, herbs and edible flowers year-round growing for professional chefs, home cooks and health specialists in Burlington, ON. We utilize sustainable farming practices to cultivate a wide variety of microgreens, herbs and edible flowers 365 days a year even through the harsh Canadian winter. We want to share the stories behind them through chef collaborations, wellness conversations, and farm-to-table content. We believe that storytelling can make people feel connected to what's on their plate.
About the role
We are a small but nimble team looking for a
Social Media Coordinator (Part-time)
who can turn farm life, chef interviews, and food culture into scroll-stopping, shareable, and strategy-backed content.

What you'll do:
Content Creation & Storytelling:
Capture and produce short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) that highlight farm life, seasonal ingredients, chef interviews, and food trends. Assist with planning and producing long-form content like podcast clips, chef interviews, and behind-the-scenes farm stories.Write engaging captions and post copy that reflect our brand voice informative, inspiring, and down-to-earth. Collaborate with chefs, farmers, and creators to develop fresh storytelling angles.
Channel Management & Publishing:
Manage day-to-day posting across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Maintain the content calendar and coordinate posting schedules for consistency and rhythm. Monitor community engagement -- respond to comments, DMs, and build relationships with our audience.
Performance & Analytics:
Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, watch time, CTR) and translate analytics into actionable insights. Test, learn, and iterate based on data -- constantly refining what works for different audiences and platforms. Present monthly social reports with learnings, wins, and opportunities for improvement.
Creative Strategy:
Brainstorm and pitch new ideas rooted in farming,food, culinary arts and farm-to-table storytelling.Keep a pulse on what's trending and help us stay relevant while remaining authentic. Support campaign launches, collaborations, and special events with social coverage.

Availability Needed
12-20 hours a week, flexible schedule as long as in agreement with your manager.
In the interview, you should be able to demonstrate these qualifications
Must be eligible to legally work in Canada
Employment is contingent upon a clear criminal background check
You must be able to get yourself to the farm location on time ready to work
1-3 years experience in social media coordination, content creation, or digital marketing, ideally with experience in food, agriculture, or lifestyle brands.
Proven ability to create and edit short-form video (bonus if you can shoot, edit, and add captions in-app).
Comfortable interviewing chefs, farmers, and guests on camera or behind it.
Strong writing and storytelling skills with attention to brand tone and narrative flow.
Familiarity with analytics tools (Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics, YouTube Studio, or similar).
A proactive, creative, and detail-oriented mindset -- you thrive in fast-moving, collaborative environments.
