Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Social Media Intern/Co-op Student to join our Social Media team. This role is designed for a student currently enrolled in a co-op or work-integrated learning program in marketing, or related field. This role provides the student with a unique opportunity to develop practical marketing skills, while supporting the marketing and social media team.
This co-op position is offered as part of a student work placement program. To qualify for this program, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a person with refugee protection given under the law.
Be enrolled in a post-secondary co-op or work-integrated learning program (proof of enrollment will be required).
Be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Responsibilities:
Executing data-driven marketing campaigns in line with the promotional schedule across all social platforms.
Developing and executing national brand content in line with strategy
Designing and delivering local social training programs and adaptable content examples for local stores
Assisting in managing social media accounts, including content scheduling and engagement monitoring
Contributing to the development of creative assets; ensuring all content, both national and local, adheres to brand guidelines
Analyzing content performance and optimizing strategies based on data
Maintaining proactive communication and collaboration with the team
Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in marketing or a related field
Strong knowledge of social/digital marketing strategies
Experience with Meta Ads Manager and Meta Business platform
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft office (especially Excel)
Creative individual with an analytical and administrative skill set
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
