We\xe2\x80\x99re hiring a Content Project Manager to support our day-to-day efforts to drive our seller narrative and engage with the seller community through external channels as well as project leading various events throughout the year.

The right candidate is hard-working, highly motivated and a passionate social media user with an understanding of channels, platforms, content, analytics and tools. They feel comfortable taking a complex message and turning it into inquisitive, snappy, social-friendly copy. They should also have experience in B2B social spaces and natural interest in what brands are doing, with an eye for evolving standard processes and a curiosity to test and learn.

In addition, this candidate will be incharge of project managing various seller events throughout the year including the largest seller event eBay Open. They will provide end to end project management and execution of Seller Events team as well as lead strategic projects and planning activities in alignment with customer, department and company-wide objectives.

The Content Project Manager will report to our Sr. Manager of Seller Content within the US Seller Engagement & Community Team. They will also work closely with our internal teams, including Design, Events, Comms, Digital Channels, External Engagement, Employee Engagement, Social Innovation and Global Brand.

Responsibilities

  • Brainstorm daily multimedia social content for various seller channels; based off knowledge of brand tools and resources
  • Work closely with the creative team to execute social ideations
  • Maintain a comprehensive social media content calendar and ensure content is consistently published on schedule
  • Identify and pitch potential social-first storytelling opportunities on social channels
  • Support the building of strategies for social media campaigns against corporate initiatives by working closely with internal teams
  • Monitor social listening, report insights and engage where relevant and appropriate
  • Pull analytics and organize metrics (benchmarks, conversations, content trends) for overall reporting and campaign-specific results; Collect information and partner with channels on results, make data driven decisions for continuous improvement and identification of new opportunities
  • Work with agency partners to align on social content and messaging
  • Develop cross-functional partnerships to identify new opportunities and drive continuous innovation
  • Execute seasonal kick-offs to ensure Leadership and Cross-Functional alignment on theme, learning goals, agenda, timelines, and deliverables
  • Provide consistent communication to key stakeholders with regular updates by developing a repeatable planning process
  • Build and maintain scheduling and managing boards in a project management software (Monday.com)
Requirements
  • Avid social media user with hands-on experience in a variety of social platforms and monitoring/scheduling tools; experience with Meltwater or similar tools for reporting and scheduling content a plus
  • Agile writer who can draft social content with speed, accuracy and sharp attention to detail
  • A creative eye for design and understanding of what content resonates visually on social
  • Highly organized, process-oriented and project management driven
  • Proven experience of building and maintaining positive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Shown success in a fast-paced, matrixed work environment, as well as the ability to thrive in a dynamic, constantly evolving, and highly driven industry
  • Effective communication skills in large & small settings, and comfortable working with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace (docs, sheets, slides)
  • Experience with Monday.com or similar tools for organizing and scheduling is a plus
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management and/or social media
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent is preferred
