Put your expertise in the spotlight
The Social Media Analyst will be responsible for the analyticsof all owned social media channel performanceof the main Cirque du Soleil brand handles. This includes ongoing reporting, analysis of measurement data like channel growth, content performance, and audience engagement, to ensure KPIs are being met. Additionally, this role will also track competitive, industry, and other social listening data to identify key trends and insights to help inform our content, strategy, and operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Own social media reporting, leveraging tools such as XYZ Sprinklr, focusing on analyzing channel growth and content performance data to ensure we\xe2\x80\x99re meeting our KPI\xe2\x80\x99s at an ongoing cadence (bi-weekly snapshots, monthly dashboards, and monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports).
  • Update and utilize existing templates and dashboards to capture data and pull insights, in addition to, suggesting better ways to report on and interpret data to improve our social media strategy for channel growth, content performance, influencer partnerships, and more.
  • Use social listening data to pull insights and help inform strategic direction of content creation, influencer partnerships, and key trends to tap into.



You possess the following professional and technical skills:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in computer science/business administration/marketing or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the marketing or advertising field as a Data Analyst, Social Media Analyst,or Digital Analyst.
  • Comfortable in the ambiguous, sifting through various sources of data, and finding solutions to make sense of it all.
  • Experience in efficient cleaning and synthesis of data (paid, owned, and earned social metrics); Excel is your best friend.
  • Strong communication skills to translate data (via visuals, charts, and graphs) into easily digestible stories for comprehension and action.
  • Strong knowledge of numerous technological platforms such as Falcon, Meta Analytics, Crimson Hexagon, and Tableau.
  • Experience in testing (e.g., A/B testing, audience testing) measurement frameworks and post-test evaluation of test results.
  • Collaborative and cross-functional.
  • Versatile and ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
  • English fluency required, but French bilingual is ideal, with the ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Experience in the entertainment industry is an asset.
