Position Summary:
The Student Recruitment Office at the Schulich School of Music is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and outgoing student to join our team as a Social Media Ambassador. This unique role combines the responsibilities of a traditional student ambassador with content creation and social media engagement. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who enjoys connecting with people, has a strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, and is excited about showcasing the student experience to prospective students.
While this ambassador position has a distinct focus (social media), all ambassadors are part of a unified team. You will work closely with one another, attend team meetings, contribute to group brainstorming sessions, and support each other's efforts during major recruitment events.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or AbilitiesCurrently enrolled as a student or recent former student at the Schulich School of Music. Outgoing, reliable, and enthusiastic about sharing your student experience with others. Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. Creative eye for storytelling through photos, videos, and written posts. Comfortable speaking in front of groups and giving tours. Team player with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Before applying, please note that to work at McGill University, you must be both authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located.



Knowledge of English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # (qualifier) on a scale of 0-4.
