Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Wellhead Boom Truck Operator and Driver with a class 3 license to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a picker safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, as well as the ability to perform basic mechanical tasks when necessary.

Duties

Operate picker and transport to various job sites. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo using forklifts, cranes, or other heavy equipment as needed. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo details Perform minor mechanical repairs and maintenance on the truck when required. Follow all safety protocols while operating vehicles in various environments, including oil and gas fields. Assist in building and rigging operations as necessary during transport.

Qualifications

Valid class 3 driver's license is required. Experience with heavy equipment operation is preferred, including forklifts and cranes. Mechanical knowledge is a plus for performing basic repairs on vehicles. Familiarity with horizontal drilling operations is advantageous. Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments typical of oil and gas operations. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as part of employment requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.50-$40.87 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 80 per week
