Job Description
RED Mountain Resort is looking for enthusiastic and outdoor oriented individuals to be part of our Snowmaking crew. Snowmakers will produce machine made snow, while striving for quality, safety and efficiency while working with intense deadlines. The job will be dependent on weather.
The Snowmaker position is a highly physical role; snowmakers are required to work outdoors and to be on their feet for long periods of time, while hiking rugged mountain terrain 24 hours a day. This position will primarily be night shifts.
Responsibilities & Duties
Conduct visual inspections and routine maintenance of snow guns and hoses Ensure a high quality of safety standards throughout the snowmaking department Set up and break down snowmaking equipment Operate snowmaking equipment, trucks, snowmobiles and ATVs in a safe and efficient manner Able to communicate and log maintenance and use of all equipment Ensure snowmaking does not interfere with existing infrastructure (lift equipment, buildings, powerlines, etc.)Qualifications
Previous snowmaking experience preferred Proven ability to operate on snow equipment including snowmobile and ATV's Current and valid Driver's license (driver's license and abstract required) Dependable and reliable * Able to work evening, nights, and weekends
