Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled

Grader Operator to operate our 655 Komatsu grader.

This position involves operating graders to clear snow and maintain safe, accessible roadways and properties throughout Edmonton. If you have a strong background in operating heavy equipment and are ready to work in winter conditions, we want to hear from you!

Qualifications and Requirements:

Clean driver's abstract (mandatory). Minimum 2 years of experience operating a grader. Knowledge of snow removal techniques and winter driving conditions is preferred. Ability to work in extreme cold temperatures and harsh winter conditions. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform regular equipment maintenance. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team. Flexibility to work day or night, weekends, and on-call shifts, as required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Operate 655 Komatsu grader

to clear snow from roads, parking lots, and other designated areas. Ensure the safe operation of equipment while working in snow removal operations across Edmonton. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to complete snow removal tasks efficiently. Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws while operating heavy machinery. Assist with other snow removal tasks such as salting or sanding as needed. Maintain communication with the team to report on job progress and conditions.

Work Environment:

Work in an outdoor environment, where the employee will be exposed to a variety of weather conditions, including cold, wind, rain, and snow.
