Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining safe and accessible roadways during winter weather conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience operating snow removal equipment and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. A commitment to safety and efficiency is crucial in this position.

Responsibilities

Operate snow plow equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and pathways of snow and ice. Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition. Utilize hand tools and power tools for additional snow removal tasks as needed. Assist with landscape maintenance during off-season, including gardening, horticulture, and irrigation tasks. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and effective snow removal operations. Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to changing situations to maintain safety.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating excavators or similar heavy machinery is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform maintenance on equipment. Familiarity with landscaping practices, including gardening and horticulture. Experience with landscape maintenance techniques is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours during winter storms, including nights and weekends as necessary. Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Physical ability to lift heavy loads and work in adverse weather conditions.
