Reporting to the Grooming Supervisor, the ideal candidate will be required to safely operate grooming equipment and carry out terrain park building and grooming that lead to superb skiing and riding products for the guests of the Lake Louise Ski Resort.
Job Responsibilities:
Build and maintain ski run surfaces through the safe and effective operating of Prinoth Snow cats
Help with building terrain parks, installing rails, building jumps, maintaining entrances
Day to day terrain park grooming to ensure a safe and fun environment for guests of all abilities
Maintain rail yard cleanliness, moving features, assisting Park Crew
Documenting feature moves, changes, park openings ect.
Transport supplies to and from lodges and other locations with boxes and barge trailers
Clean, lubricate and perform other minor cat repair and maintenance work
Performing safety/pre-start-up checks on equipment
Monitoring gauges/equipment at all times
Report defects, accidents, or damage to equipment
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Strong problem-solving skills
Previous Terrain Park grooming/building required
One or more previous seasons as a terrain park groomer required
Previous Winch Cat experience an asset
Self motivated, can work well in a team as well as independently
Must be in excellent physical condition, heavy lifting and manual labor may be required
Knowledge of the Lake Louise Ski Area is an asset
Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's license (or international equivalent) with clean driving record (abstract/traffic history report must be provided before commencement of employment)
Qualifications:
Previous grooming experience required
2 or more full season grooming experience preferred
Park and/or winch experience an asset
Previous experience leading a crew an asset
Preference will be given to applicants with a Class 5 Alberta Driver's license (or international equivalent); previous Winter driving experience; a driver's abstract and a claims experience letter from a previous insurer stating 3 years claims-free (obtained before commencing)

5 days on / 2 days off
