Snow Blow & Shovel Crew Member (residential & Commercial)
Job Description
Job Duties (including but not limited to):
- Clearing snow from walkways, driveways, and other designated areas by shoveling and using snow blower
- Applying ice control as needed to prevent slippery conditions
- Ensuring that all snow removal tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Keeping detailed notes as needed
- Following safety protocols and guidelines while performing snow removal duties
Requirements:
- Previous experience in snow clearing would be an asset
- Employees are on call 24/7 for snow and ice events - days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Valid Driver's License
- Steel toed boots
- Reliable transportation to shop location in Upper Tantallon
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Punctual and dependable
- High level of productivity
- Works well as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
