We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista/Smoothie Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the coffee and smoothie industry, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to maintaining food safety standards. Nutritional knowledge is a plus!

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, smoothies, teas, and acai bowls according to established recipes and standards. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing customer orders and payments efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils, to ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and making recommendations based on their preferences. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and ingredients, reporting shortages as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods while managing time effectively. Uphold high standards of quality in both food preparation and presentation.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a barista Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately at the cash register. Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Familiarity with cashiering duties and operating POS systems is beneficial. A willingness to learn about coffee preparation techniques and menu offerings is essential.
