Job Title: Small Engine Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Small Engine Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, adjusting, and overhauling small engines and mechanical systems that power lawn mowers, chainsaws, generators, and related equipment.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in small engines and powered equipment. Perform repairs, adjustments, and overhauls to restore equipment to proper working condition. Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and testing of equipment. Provide recommendations for parts, repairs, or replacements when necessary Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Deliver excellent customer service when explaining repairs and equipment status.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a small engine technician or similar role preferred. Strong knowledge of small engines and related mechanical systems. Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment. Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Certification or training in small engine repair is an asset. Valid Class 3 driver's license with a clean driving record.

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location:

This position is based in the office, Monday to Friday.
