Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, particularly within a dealership environment. This role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations. Diagnose vehicle issues using schematics and technical manuals to determine necessary repairs. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to assemble and disassemble vehicle components. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems before they become major issues. Weld components as necessary to ensure structural integrity and safety of the vehicle. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through continuous learning.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Mechanic. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive systems. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Familiarity with automotive schematics and diagnostic equipment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive repair are a plus.
