Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair small engines, including lawn mowers, generators, and other equipment. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and spark plug installations. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete repairs. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests. Assist in heavy lifting of equipment as needed during repairs and maintenance.

Experience

Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role involving small engine repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair. Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues. Experience using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment is preferred. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and efficiently. Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment is a plus but not required.
