Small Company Controller

Job Description
Our client located in the North End of Edmonton is currently seeking a small business Controller to help cover a temporary leave. This is a part time position working 2-3 days per week for approximately 4-6 months.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this hands-on Controller will have the following responsibilities and must meet the desired requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Hands on full cycle accounting processing (AP, AR, Payroll)
- Month end close and prepare internal profit and loss statement
- Bank reconciliation and cash flow reporting
- Supervision of one assistant
- Entity revenue and expense reporting
- Special projects as assigned

Requirements
MUST HAVES:
- 10+ years of full cycle accounting experience
- CPA designation or equivalent
- Experience in a multi entity environment
- Strong Sage 50 working experience or a similar software required
- Strong Excel knowledge and ability including Vlookup and Pivot Table skills
- Adaptable and willingness to be very hands on
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
