Job Details: This practice is seeking a full-time Veterinarian to join their amazing team!

This Practice are looking for an amazing full time or part time DVM to join their Hospital Team. They are a large and supportive group, so are open to part time or can offer a four-day full time schedule if desired. They also own two other hospitals within HRM, so we have a large network of DVMs and team members who work together to collaborate, share experiences, generate ideas and support one another whenever needed. They have a formal onboarding/training process as well as regular upskilling sessions, internal wet labs and 1:1 surgical training as needed (ex. large dog spays, dental wetlabs, etc). Because of their diverse and supportive team, new veterinarians are welcome to apply and will be supported in their early career growth. They are closed all holidays, Sundays and overnights - no on call!

WHAT YOU NEED

  • A valid veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada
  • Experience in; soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and offering nutritional advice.
  • Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues, pet parents, and community
  • A passion for coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey
  • An interest in attending conferences and networking with colleagues
  • A love for all companion animals!!
