We are hiring a Slitting Operations Coordinator, a role that involves office work and plant floor coordination with our winding division Roll 2 Roll.

Successful applicants will have a production background with interest in working directly with customers.

Opportunities:

Slitting Operations Coordinator

This role will include the following tasks for our slitting division, along with others as prescribed

Purchase raw materials, with some assistance from management Coordinate existing and develop new sales channels for slitted product Estimate costs for new applications and develop pricing Schedule the two rewinding machines to maximize efficiency and satisfy customer requirements Generate work orders, order instructions, and manifests for use by operators and customers Communicates quality requirements to the operators. Data entry component to enter and remove inventory, generate skid/roll labels and stickers Work with customers to improve applications of slitted product Future assistance in our sheeting division inventory entry and inside sales

Qualifications

Experience in a manufacturing production role Competent high school level math skills Proven attention to detail Ability to work well with a small production team Mechanical aptitude Ideally have experience in the paperboard industry
