AppleOne is hiring for a Slitter Operator position in Burlington, ON. Must have experience from a manufacturing environment/machine operation.
Shift: Straight Afternoons - Monday to Thursday 1:15pm - 11:30pm
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00/hour plus $1.00 shift premium
Responsibilities:
- Verify Production Run Package information for accuracy
- Supply Slitting Team with set up and process instruction
- Verify correct coils are supplied for the production run performing required verification checks
- Ensure slitter set up is correct including gamma gauge monitoring equipment
- Process coils ensuring quality and customer tolerances are adhered to.
- Monitor/Inspect equipment for safe operation and/or any maintenance requirements
- High School or equivalent job experience
- Advanced knowledge and skill level of slitting machine
- Must be able to read Standard/Metric measuring tape
- Must be able to perform basic mathematic calculations of standard/metric measurements
- Basic computer skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to lift products weighing up to 50lbs
