ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking Slashers and Brushers to join Spectrum Resource Group (Wright Canada Holdings Ltd.) for various locations within British Columbia. As integral members of our crew, gaining hands on training experience in the vegetation management industry. We offer:$25.00 to $40.00 per hour Paid travel time and accommodations when away from home Comprehensive training and career development opportunities

KEY RESPONSIBLITIESSlashing/brushing on varying slopes and terrain Meet the project specification Safeguards employees and public from hazards in and around work area. Assumes responsibility for the inspection and proper working conditions of tools, trucks, and other work equipment. Requests repair or replacement of equipment when necessary. Understands the right to refuse unsafe work and invokes that right responsibly.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSCertified Chainsaw operator Valid drivers' license with a clean driving record. A safety conscious attitude Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team Ability to traverse steep slopes and work for more than 7 hours a day Ability to lift, move and maneuver up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis and up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis. Punctuality, dependability, and accountability in the field. The ability to work away from home for periods of time.
