Overview

Swift Quartz is seeking a

detail-oriented and experienced Watchmaker

to join our growing team. If you're passionate about restoring and servicing timepieces--from classic wristwatches to high-end luxury models--this role is for you. You'll play a key role in maintaining the trust of our loyal customers and upholding our reputation for precision and craftsmanship.

Duties

Perform

battery changes

,

strap fittings

, and

bracelet adjustments

Full movement overhauls (mechanical and quartz) Stem, crown, crystal, gasket, and glass replacements Water resistance testing and restoration Assemble and disassemble watches using both

hand tools

and

power tools

Diagnose mechanical faults and ensure each timepiece meets our high standards of accuracy Collaborate on the repair workflow to ensure timely service for all customers Perform

quality inspections

and maintain a detailed record of work completed

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on watchmaking techniques Experience in a factory or manufacturing facility is highly desirable Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks Familiarity with assembly line processes and workflows Previous warehouse experience is a plus, including material handling skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in watchmaking, horology, or watch repair Excellent mechanical aptitude with an eye for detail Familiarity with watch assembly line workflows and repair protocols Proficiency with tools such as loupes, tweezers, case openers, and timing machines Experience in manufacturing or factory environments is an asset Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus Forklift certification is desirable but not required Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team Horological certifications (e.g., AWCI, WOSTEP, SAWTA) are an advantage

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
