We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in upholstery and be proficient in using various tools and sewing machines. This role requires experience and the ability to perform moderate lifting as well as assemble and build furniture pieces. The Upholsterer will be responsible for reupholstering dining seats, sofas, love seats, etc. Sewing machine ability is a MUST.
All needed tools provided in a nice working area. Many materials available such as foam, batting, webbing and all materials needed for reupholstery. You only need to focus on the work and there will be continuous work. No wood-working skills required.

Responsibilities

Utilize power tools and equipment to assemble and upholster furniture according to specifications. Perform moderate lifting and maneuver large pieces of furniture with precision. Help available for lifting. Measure and cut fabric, foam, and other materials Ensure all upholstery work meets quality standards and customer expectations. Collaborate with management to complete projects efficiently within deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the workshop environment. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the upholstery process, applying mechanical knowledge as necessary.

Requirements

Proven experience in upholstery Ability to operate some power tools safely. Experience with industrial sewing machine and serger is preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 30 pounds) consistently throughout the workday. Familiarity with safety protocols. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
