Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled tradesperson to join our team on various projects around southern Alberta. Britlane Developments is a general contractor building houses, garages, farm shops etc from start to finish. This means we handle many different aspects of construction and have a ton of variety in our duties. The ideal candidate will possess strong work ethic, a solid understanding of construction processes, and a positive attitude. This role requires hands-on experience in building and construction, including framing, exteriors and groundworks

Duties

- The use of hand tools and power tools, ensuring safety protocols are followed.

- Perform heavy lifting as needed and assist with framing, exterior metal cladding, concrete forming, and skid steer operation

- Operate heavy equipment when necessary for various construction activities.

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, addressing any hazards promptly.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.

- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction work.

- Strong problem solving abilities and attention to detail in all aspects of work.

- A commitment to safety standards and practices on the job site.

Pay: $23.20-$40.60 per hour
