We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Trades Person to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of skilled tasks including carpentry, roofing, masonry, drywall installation, concrete finishing, tile laying, and framing to support construction projects.
Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently to complete project requirements.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute work according to specifications.
Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project quality expectations.
Assist with construction estimating by providing accurate material takeoffs and labor assessments for project planning.
Install or repair systems such as plumbing, electrical wiring, glass, cabinets, doors, stucco finishes, and caulking to meet client specifications.
Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks on-site while maintaining a safe work environment.
Requirements
Proven experience in construction trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, plumbing or electrical work with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction management principles.
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication techniques.
Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to assist with project planning.
Familiarity with construction inspection procedures and safety protocols on active sites.
Ability to work effectively at heights or in confined spaces as required by specific tasks.
Strong communication skills coupled with a detail-oriented approach to craftsmanship. Nice-to-have skills include experience with Bluebeam software for digital plan review; expertise in restoration or hardscape projects; knowledge of welding; experience with flooring installation or tile setting; capability in glass installation or cabinet hanging; familiarity with concrete forming or finishing; ability to read schematics for electrical or plumbing systems; and operation of heavy machinery relevant to construction sites.
