Key Responsibilities
Perform precise meat cutting and butchering (beef, pork, or lamb) using knives and processing equipment to meet product specifications
Portion, trim, and prepare meat for packaging with attention to yield and presentation
Package meat products according to food safety regulations and customer requirements
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations in compliance with food safety and HACCP standards
Assist with inventory control, including proper storage and stock rotation
Minimize waste while maintaining consistent yield and product quality
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines
Follow all food handling and safety procedures to prevent contamination
Qualifications & Requirements
2-5 years of hands-on meat cutting experience
(beef, pork, or lamb)
Strong knife skills; fast, accurate, and familiar with various meat cuts
Solid knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Experience with packaging fresh or processed meat for wholesale or foodservice distribution
High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a production environment
Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift heavy loads
Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to quality and cleanliness
