Skilled Laborer / Pipe Layer - Nanaimo, BC
Hudson Procter Contracting Ltd. is hiring a Skilled Laborer / Pipe Layer to join our team in Nanaimo, BC. We focus on safety, quality workmanship, and reliable service across excavation, retaining wall construction, underground utility installation, and trucking projects.
Responsibilities
Install water, sewer, storm, and utility piping systems
Perform trenching, grading, and backfilling
Operate skid steers, mini excavators, and compactors
Use TopCon GPS for accurate project layouts and grade control
Work safely and support team members on-site
Requirements
2+ years of experience in pipe laying or underground utilities
Equipment operation experience (skid steers, mini excavators, compactors)
Familiarity with TopCon GPS preferred
Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in all conditions
