We are looking for a

Skilled Labourer / Carpenter / Handyman

type person to join our team.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry. Strong expertise in both rough and finish carpentry, with a deep understanding of construction techniques and best practices. Proven ability to successfully manage small to mid-sized construction projects. Solid knowledge of other building trades and how they integrate into projects. Must hold a valid NS Driver's License with a clean Driver's Abstract to operate company vehicles, including pickups and trailers. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Highly detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.

Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.

Teachable, open to feedback, and eager to grow alongside the team.

Must live locally and be able to reliably commute daily to Hammonds Plains for morning start times.

Additional Skills (an asset, but not required):

General handyman abilities and versatility across different trades. Experience with drywall, tiling, paint, etc. Experience operating heavy machinery. Experience driving with trailers.
