Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Laborer/Shop Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks to support our construction and landscaping/snow removal projects and ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Duties
- Perform physical labor on various job sites
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of work areas
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures
- Support skilled tradespeople as needed
- Greasing and surfacing
-Maintenance of heavy equipment
Skills
- Valid G drivers license
- Ability to haul a trailer/reverse a trailer
- Ability to operate machinery
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous physical tasks
- Ability to load and off load equipment
- Basic knowledge of construction and landscaping as well as the tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Previous experience in construction is a must
Experience:
- Landscaping and Snow removal experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Education:
Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
Landscape maintenance: 2 years (preferred)
Language:
English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Class G Licence (required)
Work Location: In person
