Job Description
Construction is Canada\xe2\x80\x99s premier utility contractor, as well as head of the and part of the Group, the largest electrical power contractor in North America. Valard has full-service capabilities for transmission, distribution, substations, foundations, telecommunications, and renewable energy.
We are currently looking for qualified labourers for a project in Revelstoke, BC. The position will be 6 on/1 off and run into October.
Requirements
- Packing tools into trucks
- Working around heavy equipment and assisting operators
- Working with hand power tools
- Taking direction from crew lead on various tasks
- Loading/unloading construction material both mechanically and by hand
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Physically fit with the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Valid Drivers license is an asset, will need to provide driver\xe2\x80\x99s abstract
