Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled landscaping labourer to join our team. We create high end landscapes for cottages in the Parry Sound/Muskoka area. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction tasks and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Duties:

- Perform a variety of tasks involving manual labor in landscaping projects
- Assist with installing hardscaping materials for projects such as flagstone, granite steps, pea stone, river rock, interlock, mulch, topsoil, grass seed, etc.
- Operate and maintain equipment and tools such as power saws, stone lifters, power wheelbarrows, leaf blowers, etc.
- Have an eye for detail and design
- Read and interpret instructions and documentation when required

Experience:

- Proven experience as a skilled laborer in the construction industry
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
- Knowledge of basic construction techniques and safety guidelines
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment

- Must have own vehicle to get to work.

Those with DZ or AR licence will be given special consideration. Pay will be based off of skills and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
