Steeves Excavating has been serving the Greater Moncton area for over 45 years. We pride ourselves on our customer service and quality in both residential and commercial projects.
We are currently looking for a Seasonal Skilled Labourer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Proficient skills using various equipment and machinery such as compaction equipment and laser level
Perform general construction labor duties, such as digging trenches, checking grade, and assisting with the installation of building components
Maintain daily paperwork
Perform basic equipment checks and report any issues to management
Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear while working
Qualifications:
Valid class 5 driver's license and clean driver's abstract
Must be able to travel to and from office each day
Resume and references supporting previous work experience
Must be able to work well with a team, but also have the ability to work unsupervised
Must be willing to work long hours (12 hour shifts)
Must have a pair of CSA approved safety boots
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
Competitive hourly wage will be based upon the experience and qualifications of applicant. Medical benefits including dental, vision, and extended health care are also available.
