Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in various construction and maintenance tasks, demonstrating proficiency in both hand and power tools. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on various projects.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks Assist in concrete forming and finishing processes Perform carpentry work including cabinet installation and restoration projects Engage in construction estimating to assist project planning Execute masonry tasks as needed, ensuring quality workmanship Conduct plumbing tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Apply caulking, paint, and other finishes to enhance project aesthetics Install flooring and lay tiles according to specifications Collaborate with team members on electrical projects as needed Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction or skilled labor roles Strong ability in blueprint reading and understanding schematics Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, restoration, and construction painting is preferred Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members

Pay: $22.50-$30.00 per hour
