Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Skilled Labourer with pipe or civil work experience to join our team on our multi family development site. FirstAid Level 2 certification would be an asset as well. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to perform various tasks in a fast-paced environment as well as . This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. As a Skilled Laborer, you will contribute to the successful completion of projects while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of manual labor tasks including pipe laying, shovelling, raking etc. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Assist in the assembly and installation of structures or equipment as directed. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Collaborate with team members to complete tasks on schedule. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to the job.

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools is essential. Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team. Knowledge of construction is required. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
