POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Foreman to lead our Irrigation team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in irrigation system installation and maintenance, excellent leadership skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and delegate tasks to laborers on-site. Perform and oversee trenching, backfilling, and landscape restoration. Install irrigation systems, including valves, valve boxes, low-voltage wiring, and pipe fittings (1"-4"). Fabricate, assemble, and test irrigation systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with IIABC standards. Maintain company vehicles and ensure accurate completion of maintenance logs. Complete and submit timesheets accurately and on time. Coordinate effectively with other trades and site supervisors to ensure smooth project execution.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. At least 2 years of relevant experience or IIABC Certified Technician Level 1 & 2. Strong knowledge of IIABC standards and irrigation system installation practices. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable transportation to and from job sites. Current Standard First Aid certification.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Physically fit and able to perform outdoor, hands-on work. Solid understanding of landscape construction and irrigation practices. Ability to read and interpret landscape and irrigation drawings. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Effective communication and leadership abilities.

PREFERRED SKILLS & TRAINING

Equipment operation experience (excavator, skid steer, etc.). Fall Protection and Confined Space training. Punctual, reliable, and proactive attitude.
