Wage: $26-35 starting wage - based on experience:

QUALIFICATIONS & ABILITIES:

A valid Class 5 Driver's License A minimum of 2 years' industry experience The ability to read and interpret blueprints The ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Pride of ownership in providing quality results and service Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work with a diverse group of professionals

KEY EXPECTATIONS:

Load and unload structure materials and move materials in work areas Direct traffic at or near building sites and carry out other traffic management activities Dig trenches and place pipes or cables for drains and extra services Construct and maintain roads, pathways or railways Clean up work sites Manage shift equipment and materials Take delivery of materials and cargo from suppliers Mix, transfer and extend materials such as concrete and asphalt Help in drilling and blasting; plane earth using rakes and shovels Remove debris and trash at construction sites using wheelbarrows Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, and materials Perform other duties as assigned by manager Work safely and promote a safe work environment adhering to safety policies and procedures including participation in safety meetings. Complete the daily maintenance and safety inspections of their assigned piece of equipment as outlined in the Milner Group's maintenance policy Conduct pre-trip inspections Operate their equipment in a manner as not to cause damage to the equipment or any surrounding structures or impediments and to do so safely to ensure the safety of themselves and others onsite Ensure effective communication on progress and any potential issues are brought to the attention of the Foreman/Superintendent Maintain equipment and promptly report any maintenance issues
