Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance/Carpenter
to join our facilities team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of maintenance, repair, and carpentry tasks to ensure our building(s) and equipment remain in excellent condition. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Perform general carpentry work including framing, drywall installation and repair, door and window installation, trim work, and cabinetry.
Operate and maintain tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Collaborate with other maintenance staff to complete work orders and special projects.
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
Respond to maintenance emergencies promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and hand/power tools
Basic skills of hanging pictures, mounting items, repairing doors, etc.
Ability to read and interpret work orders
Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
