Job Overview



This isn't your everyday carpentry job. At CDH Carpentry, our projects are diverse, challenging, and rewarding, perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving and thrives on unique builds. As a Skilled Carpenter, you'll take ownership of your work, collaborate with an energetic crew, and deliver top-quality results that reflect our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities and Duties



Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings Measure and cut wood, plywood, and other materials to specifications Install doors, windows, framing, and other carpentry elements Construct rough frameworks, including walls, roofs, and foundations Perform fine carpentry, including trimming, molding, and finishing work Supervise and mentor junior carpenters or apprentices Organize and transport tools and materials on site Ensure quality and durability of all work, making adjustments as necessary Follow safety guidelines and report hazards as required

Key Deliverables



Organize site and crew to produce on budget and on schedule Maintain quality in work while leading the customer's experience Mentor and support your team with training and ongoing guidance Provide daily updates to management, including timesheets, material usage, and site needs

Required Skills



Proficient in carpentry techniques and methods Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Knowledge of building codes and regulations Experience with hand and power tools Strong attention to detail and quality Problem-solving skills and initiative Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Skilled Carpentry: 2 years (required)
