Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Skid Steer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating skid steer loaders to assist with construction, landscaping, irrigation, gardening, and horticulture projects. This role requires mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in various outdoor environments. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to diverse projects while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
Operate skid steer loaders safely and efficiently across multiple job sites. Assist with excavation, grading, and material handling tasks related to landscape maintenance and construction projects. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
Required Skills
Must have valid driver's license. Proven experience operating skid steer loaders; experience with excavators is a plus. Mechanical knowledge related to machinery maintenance and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of safety procedures in construction or outdoor work environments. Ability to interpret instructions accurately. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
Work Location: In person
