Job Description
Tree service company is currently hiring an experienced Skid Steer Operator to join our snow removal team in Vaughan for the upcoming winter season.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a skid steer with various attachments to clear snow from commercial and residential properties safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a skid steer with a plow and other attachments to remove snow from parking lots, driveways, walkways, and other areas Load and unload material using the skid steer as required Ensure equipment is operated and maintained properly Respond promptly to snow events (on-call, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays) Maintain safety standards while working in challenging winter conditions Communicate with dispatch and team leads as needed Report any equipment or property damage immediately
Requirements:
Valid Full G Driver's License (clean abstract is an asset)
2 years or more of previous experience operating skid steers or heavy equipment for snow removal
Strong understanding of safe snow-clearing practices Ability to work long hours in extreme weather conditions Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethicMust be available for on-call, 24/7 availability during snow events
Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
