Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Skid Steer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating skid steer equipment to assist in various landscaping and construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of machinery, as well as the ability to perform tasks related to irrigation, gardening, and landscape maintenance. The Skid Steer Operator will work closely with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Duties

Operate skid steer machinery for various tasks including excavation, grading, and site preparation. Assist in landscape maintenance activities, including planting, irrigation installation, and garden upkeep. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on skid steer equipment to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for construction and landscaping tasks. Collaborate with team members on construction projects to ensure timely completion of work. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

Proficiency in operating skid steer equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency. Experience with excavators and other heavy machinery is preferred. Knowledge of irrigation systems, horticulture practices, and landscape maintenance techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and performing basic maintenance on equipment. Ability to effectively use hand tools and power tools in various construction tasks. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues on-site. Pay: $19.16-$31.67 per hour
