Job Description

Blacktop Asphalt Paving is seeking a reliable and experienced Skid Steer Operator to join our winter maintenance crew. This position plays a key role in keeping commercial and residential sites safe and accessible throughout the winter season.

Key Responsibilities

Operate skid steer equipment for snow removal and winter site maintenance Clear snow from parking lots, driveways, walkways, and designated areas Assist with salting, sanding, and ice control as required Perform daily equipment checks and report any mechanical issues Work efficiently and safely in severe weather conditions, including overnight and early morning shifts Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Maintain a high standard of workmanship and site cleanliness

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 2 years of skid steer operating experience Experience in winter maintenance and snow removal preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays during weather events Strong understanding of site safety and equipment operation Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
