As a highly certified Professional Instructor you will deliver high quality ski/snowboard instruction to groups and individuals, providing world class guest service in a safe and fun learning environment.Job Responsibilities:Supervise a group of children, adults or families for the day on Whistler or Blackcomb Mountain, in a variety of activities including instructional skiing, skier safety, lunch, special events and to accept all duties as assigned by the Program Supervisor.Lead guests into a variety of advanced terrainDevelop advance skiers and riders to reach their next level goalsWork with advanced season long programs, and athlete developmentLead sessions, and Instructor development programsFollow the guidelines and safety rules as outline in our Safety ManualBe responsible for your safety and the safety of the guestsAct as the prudent parent in the absence of the child\'s parentAttend all mandatory training sessions.Be familiar with all Snow School programs, prices and lesson times.We are a company that works together and throughout the season you may be required to assist in other departments as needed.Job Requirements:Level 4 CSIA, PSIC, CASI or foreign equivalent is essentialCertified in secondary recognized discipline e.g. Snowboard/ Ski dual certifiedCertified Course Conductor is an assetFluent in multiple languages is an assetExperience working with Children and Families is essential.Experience teaching advanced lessonsExperience training level 1 and 2 InstructorsPatience and ability to have lots of fun.Good verbal and written communication skillsReliable and committed to workingRequired to provide a satisfactory criminal record check certificate upon check-in (valid within 18 months of your start date)Demonstrating our Core Values, Serve Other, Do Right, Be inclusive, Drive Value, Do Good.
