Ski Lift Attendant - Weekends (Seasonal, Part-Time)

Must be 16 years of age or older to operate a ski lift in Ontario

Mansfield Ski Club - On-site only

Position:

December 13th, 2025 - March 29th, 2026

Hours:

Regular season: Saturdays-Sundays; working throughout the December holiday break (closed Christmas Day and New Years Day), Family Day and throughout March Break.

Compensation:

Student wage $16.60; non-student wage $17.60 per hour

About the Role:

Mansfield Ski Club is looking for energetic and safety-minded Weekend Ski Lift Attendants to join our team for the winter season. As part of our on-hill operations crew, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our members and guests have a safe, efficient, and enjoyable lift experience every weekend.

Reporting to the Operations Managers and Lift Supervisors, this hands-on position involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, assisting guests with loading and unloading lifts, and maintaining a clean and safe lift area.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist members and guests with safe loading and unloading chairlifts. Maintain cleanliness and safety around lift loading areas, including snow raking and shovelling. Communicate clearly with other lift attendants and operations staff via radio and in person. Monitor lift operations and report any issues to the lift mechanic or supervisor immediately. Provide friendly, courteous service and ensure adherence to all safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

Reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-service oriented. Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in cold weather for extended periods. Comfortable communicating clearly with guests and team members. Reliable winter transportation required. Available to work all weekends during the ski season and some days over the Christmas Break. Previous ski lift operation is an asset but not required -- training provided.
