Swiss Sports Haus, one of British Columbia's oldest and most respected independent ski retailers, is seeking a skilled

Bootfitter / Ski Technician

to join our team for the upcoming ski season.

Position Summary

Bootfitting is at the heart of our reputation. In this role, you'll ensure every skier -- from recreational to race -- leaves with boots and equipment dialed for comfort, performance, and confidence on the hill. This position blends hands-on technical craftsmanship with attentive customer service in a professional, family-run shop environment.

Responsibilities

Fit and customize alpine and race ski boots. Recommend and fit recreational boots for all levels of skiers. Build or fit custom footbeds for comfort, support, and performance. Install and adjust alpine bindings. Tune and service skis. Maintain a clean, organized, professional work environment. Assist customers with alpine equipment, helmets, goggles, and accessories.

What You Bring

Previous experience in ski bootfitting (recreational and/or race). Technical skills in ski tuning and binding adjustment. Detail-oriented, patient, and professional with customers. Friendly, outgoing, and well-presented. Strong communication skills -- you listen first, then share knowledge. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts from Monday to Sunday. Availability during the busy peak season (November-January).
